What are the common problems in the use of industrial plugs and sockets?
 Several common mistakes in use
1. The anti-fall structure of the cover is not removed during insertion and removal
Industrial plugs and sockets have an anti-falling structure. When pulling out and plugging in, you must first hold the handle of the plug, and then flip up the cover (for splash-proof sockets) or loosen the  retaining ring (for anti-immersion plugs) to plug and pull out. Otherwise it will get stuck. Excessive force may even damage the plug and socket.

2. The waterproof cover is not locked during operation
For a submersion-proof plug, the bayonet waterproof cover is not locked after being pulled out or plugged in. Especially outdoors, this will affect the dustproof and waterproof properties of the socket.

3. Pull out the plug forcefully without releasing the interlock.
The structural feature of the interlocking switch socket is that the plug can only be inserted and pulled out when the switch is in the "0" position (i.e., power is off); and when it is in the "1" position (i.e., power is on), the socket is mechanically locked and the plug cannot be pulled out. Some people do not understand its structural principles and still pull out the plug when the switch is on "1". Some people even pull it out with force, resulting in the plastic box of the interlocking switch socket being torn apart.

4. Grab the cable and pull it hard
Since there is a cable clamp inside the plug, under normal circumstances, the cable clamped by it is not easy to come out. But some people just grab the cable and try to pull it out when they pull out the plug. If this happens for a long time, the cable may be torn or fall out.

5. The plug is left on the ground and contaminated.
Splash-proof plugs usually come without a cover, and the pins are exposed although protected by the casing. If left on the ground, it will be easily contaminated by sand, dust or water. Over time, it will rust and affect its conductivity and use. Therefore, it is best to hang the plug or connector when not in use to avoid being left on the ground to become contaminated or damp.

6. Directly insert the wire end into the socket or connector to connect the power supply
Some people, just for the sake of convenience, take the end of a wire and insert it into the socket or connector sleeve in order to get power directly.
This is a wrong practice among welders, and its consequences are also very serious. Because the wire head and the plug sleeve cannot be in close contact, flashover or heat will occur when power is supplied. Over time, the plug sleeve may be easily burned out and damaged.

7. Misuse of splash-proof cable connector
From a protection perspective, in situations where IP44 electrical accessories are suitable, higher protection level IP67 electrical accessories can be used instead. However, when IP67 electrical accessories are required, industrial P44 electrical accessories cannot be used instead. For example, in construction sites where the environment is harsh or there is water or mud, people often accidentally use splash-proof cable couplings. This is a mistake.
Wet areas should use anti-immersion cable couplings

2. Preventive measures
Problems that occur during installation and use are mainly caused by the following aspects:
1. Many people lack relevant knowledge and do not understand some of the structural principles, resulting in errors in installation and use.
2. Not paying enough attention during installation and installing casually as required.
3. Caused by improper use. Failure to comply with usage requirements may result in problems due to illegal operations.
In actual work, some incorrect installation and use problems can often be found. Maybe you didn't realize it for a while or you didn't usually have any trouble, so you thought there wouldn't be a problem and didn't pay attention to it. This leaves hidden dangers, which may affect equipment and personal safety if something goes wrong. Therefore, we must not be careless and must take precautions before they happen. have it done:
1) For those who have never used this type of product, they need to read the instruction manual or receive relevant training to understand the installation method and usage requirements.
2) Operate according to specifications.
